Group 3 Results (SPOILERS) and Wild Card Field

Making the Top 12 from Group 3 are:

I know I said this morning that it was basically Lil and Everyone Else last night, but even still, Scott and Jorge are pretty uninspired choices. Though beyond Felicia, I'm not sure who I would rather have seen in their spots, so whatever. Clearly this was the weakest of the three groups.

Your 8 Wild Card hopefuls are:

And so die the hopes of Felicia Barton (sad!), Ju'not Joyner (...I guess), and my beloved Alex Wagner-Trugman. We also bid adieu to Norman Gentle, which means I can go back to liking him again.

Of this group, my clear preferences would be for Jessie, Matt, and Tatiana.

Kidding! Jessie, Matt, and whichever one of Jasmine/Ricky/Megan brings it the strongest. I predict, though, it'll be Jasmine, Megan, and Anoop.

I also would not be surprised in the least if they threw in a surprise 13th finalist. It might help better deal with the gender imbalance that's developed, and it would allow the "each judge picks one Wild Card of their own" tradition to live on with four judges. Of course, if that 13th finalist is Tatiana, I'm out.
