I can't believe we're already at this point, but tonight is Top 7 elimination night, which means it's King Solomon time again. Once again, just to explain, that's when Ryan divides everyone into two groups of three, then asks the seventh person to join the group they think is safe. If you're Bo or Melinda, that means to refuse to choose in order to showcase your integrity. If you're Taylor Hicks, that means you act like an asshole. If you're that guy from Season 3, it means you freak out and die.
So who's it going to be this year? I've always maintained that it either goes to the most pimped contestant or the most emotionally unstable. The former would mean Archuleta, which would be predictable and boring as shit. The latter would be Carly, but for that to happen she'd have to escape Bottom Three this week, and that's pretty doubtful.
Thoughts? Predictions?

I think it's David Cook, because they'd bet he'd do something assholic in response. And I'd bet the same thing, so Cooksy gets my sawbuck.
OMG, George Huff from season three, right? And it was all the awesome black female singers in one group, but SURPRISE they were the bottom three, and Elton John called America racist! I could be conflating some events, there.
My vote is for Archuleta or Brooke, if she manages not to be in the bottom three. Whichever Mormon happens to be closest to Seacrest at the time.
And whoever it is had better pick the group with Carly in it as going home, because girlfriend is done.
I think it'll be Archuleta, because I think Cook's too upset about his brother to be a dick, and Archuleta's brain might finally snap from the strain and make him stab Ryan on stage. Not that I think that would be awesome or anything.
Brooke would be the ideal Queen Solomon, of course, all the better for her to finally have that grand mal seizure she's been inching ever so steadily towards. Unfortunately, that would require her to be in the top four this week, and I'm not confident in that AT ALL.
No, Tracie, I think you got that all right. But I'm starting to wonder if they'll even do this this year, if the Bottom 3 is too obvious. I mean, unless one of the Davids end up B3 (I would seriously doubt it, though the Curse of First will try mightily to fell David A.).
