Not since Ryan Star...

Everybody loves David Cook's performance of "Hello." Everybody loves it. "Best of the night!," they cry from their cybernetic mountaintops, as I sit, baffled at how people can allow such a marvel of awful, cheap, lazy, half-assed, self-satisfied douchetasticness to touch their souls to the very core.

Then I remember that Nickelback's last album has sold over seven million copies and Daughtry has sold three million, and I understand. I still weep, but I understand.

You'd think, but no.

Oh. We're talking about two different people. The fact that there are two people who named themselves any variation of that name is so depressing.
