Or should it be Week 1, After Sanjaya.
Antonio Banderas and Jeffrey Katzenberg could have done some of us a favor by shouting out some folks in particular, but still, Melinda gets the famed King Solomon position (and Bices it, to boot!) for +3. And we have our third points leader in as many weeks. John and Eddie remain the only players with all 3 contestants remaining.
Points this week:
Blake -- +6 (+5, +3 for performing last, -2 for bottom three)
Chris R -- +5
Jordin -- +5
LaKisha -- +2 (+5, -3 for bottom 2)
Melinda -- +8 (+5, +3 for being the King Solomon)
Phil -- +7 (+5, +2 for performing first)
Sanjaya -- 0

Damn! I am officially out of this thing, I think (I know, I know, you're all thinking, "She was already so not in this." But I had hopes of Jordin, Sanjaya in the final two and someone singing Johnny Cash and Paul McCartney showing up.
With only one singer left, though, my chances are slim.
It's still fun to ogle, though.
Just you wait. Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin will each get a theme night, Melinda will win the whole damn thing, and each Idol Gives Back celebrity guest will answer the question, "Which momentarily promising Idol castoff do you prefer, Chris Sligh or Sundance Head?" Then y'all will find out who's REALLY pulling the strings on this stupid show.
Who said that? I can't hear you from all the way up here.
Shut up, John.
That's the stuff.
