Call it

Anyone else have no real idea who's going home tonight? (Okay, "anyone else who doesn't follow DialIdol.")

I mean, yeah, Haley -- but Haley has lasted about six weeks longer than I thought she would, so I'm not comfortable predicting her ouster.

I feel like Chris Sligh's number is almost up. He looked kind of broken last night, and people rarely last long after that happens. The judges soft-pedaled the criticism enough...yeah, I'm going with him in a surprise. (Watch, now Phil will go home.)

I actually took a heart-attack-inducing peek at DialIdol, a site I still think is full o'crap (though not nearly as full o'crap as Vote For The Worst, but whatever), and so I've decided that while I'm hoping against hope for Sligh's ouster (for pool-related and personal reasons), I will be more than happy with Haley going home, because the alternative to those two is too scary to contemplate.

If Sligh goes home, it breaks the backs of half the pool, so that could get interesting. Alas, I am in said half and don't want it to happen.

Yeah, I'm starting to regret picking Sligh. He was so funny those first few episodes, but his singing has not lived up his audition, and I'm starting to feel ill every time his mane o' pubes flaps around. I won't be sad to see him go, but I had such faith in the beginning. Oh, well. I think it's him or ScarNOTo, whose ouster I would most certainly celebrate, but not nearly as much as Sanjaya's. HATE.

I know it won't be Sanjaya and his mohawk of horrendous glory.

And I'm hoping it's not Sligh.

So ... I don't know. Everyone was kind of ... meh, so it could be anyone.
