Since this was a Bottom 4 situation split up in two, Anoop and Megan get -2, and Kelly Clarkson pickers got a happy surprise with her appearance last night. As for the standings, Andrew takes sole possession of first place, Aaron Cameron shakes off two seasons of Joanne Borgellas and Amy Krebses and is within a wisp of the top, and we've got our first pool entrant to lose all three contestants. However, since that entry belongs to a cat, all human beings are still alive!

shouldn't us carrie underwood pickers get something for her singing the "you're going home" song? or does that honor go to people who improbably chose motley crue?
Neither, sadly. Carrie only gets points if she shows up/performs on the show herself or if one of the Idols (or the idols as a group) sing one of her songs.
Aaron Cameron is not amused.
There's no indication that Anoop or Megan was actually bottom four. In fact, I doubt Anoop was bottom four. They just brought them down and said one of the two was out. There should be no points off for Anoop or Megan, in my opinion.
Well, I definitely think Anoop could have been bottom 4 after that performance. But if that's true that Ryan never said so (I'll admit I didn't pay my usual hawk-like attention to that part) then yeah, Anoop will get his 2 points back. Megan too, but nobody picked her.
Damn, Seacrest, you are killing me this season.
Wait wait wait, I missed this new update! I agree with Linda about getting points back for Anoop (I paid particular attention to Ryan's conspicuous lack of "Bottom 2" phrasing)!! How am I ever to take down Andrew without those 2 points back??
Yeah, I'll be adding those two points back with this week's update. Don't lose a tooth about it!
