Thanks to Linda (via the Vulture blog) for pointing me in the direction of the list of 500 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-approved songs that will serve as the song pool for this week.
So if you, say, have been waiting all season for someone to bust out with some David Bowie already, this is probably your best chance, as he's got three songs on the list. Will Ziggy finally play guitar?

I thought my only realistic shot, given that list, was Syesha perhaps choosing to perform "Dancing in the Streets," which if I'm not mistaken was remade in the '80s by Mick Jagger and the Thin White Duke.
(NB: I didn't see the list and don't even know if that song was on it. But a Castro version of "Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes" probably wasn't out of the question either...not that he'd have remembered the words.)
You are not mistaken about that remake. Do you know how I know? Because I was one of the 25 people who actually bought a copy. What a fool I was.
