So was it just that last night was so incredibly underwhelming from a performance standpoint, or is it just the point in the season where everybody's ready for it to be over? Because normally we'd all be in the midst of a giant debate about the following:
1) They couldn't have just done "Disco Night"? They had to limit it to Barry Gibb's Greatest Hits And Some Other Stuff He's Done? I was all set to hear some Macarthur Park up in there. I'm just not sure why, when you have three big voices like Melinda's, Jordin's, and LaKisha's, they'd handcuff them with Bee Gees songs. Harrumph.
2) What in the holy hell was up with Barry Gibb? Did he just get those dentures installed yesterday? He was talking like Sean Connery after a three-day bender. And didn't all that "such-and-such could totally have a hit record with this song, and I really hope they do, can we get them in the studio today, I seem to have the afternoon free" talk seem rather desperate. Sorry, Barry. Should have entered the songwriting contest like everyone else.
3) LaKisha going home seems the safe play, yes? Or does the Top 4 Shocking Elimination (Tamyra, LaToya, Daughtry) nab Melinda and get everybody talking again just in time for the last two weeks?

Okay, and is it just me, or does Blake totally eat it? I'm sorry, I've tried to like the kid, but his "live remixing" has GOT to go...
I actually didn't mind him last night, not as much as the judges did. It's his hair that's bugging me these days. Dye it back, homes!
