So..."inspirational songs" appears to be the theme this week. Which means I'm expecting the Michael Jackson people (whether you're black or white, start looking at that man in the mirror!) and the Whitney Houston people (for one moment in time, the children are our future!) to pick up some points. And if "We Are The World" gets sung, a whole lot of points will be for the taking. And if, as was tantalizingly suggested to me over the weekend, "Ebony and Ivory" shows up, that will mean a BONANZA WEEK for yours truly.
As for the Elton John people...I think you've gotta be pulling for "Philadelphia Freedom," right?

It won't happen, but an attempt to sing the Blue Angels theme song, via Hagar-era Van Halen, would make me giddily happy.
As far as I know, Phil has not yet pandered to the Blue Angels. You can do it, Phil! You're the inspiration!
