Meanie!
So after Paula's horrific realization last week that the voters don't necessarily vote for the best singers, she seemed like she was taking things into her own hands this week and giving a lot more actual criticism. If I remember right, she even panned one guy that Randy kind of liked. Has this ever happened before? Should we worry about the end of days?

I noticed that, too. Paula was almost the meanest one last night. I think "end of days" is about right.
I was so shocked I became speechless (which is rare for me with this show) I listened to the entire judgments without uttering a sound.
how did this come to pass?
she wasn't particular articulate about it but she was actually thinking about what was wrong with the performances rather than telling subpar performers that they're STARS! [insert hearts and rainbows here]
