1. I think being boring is, like, Sanjaya's "thing." It's his thing that he does! Don't hate on him for doing his thing! He's keepin' it real! With... my wife's hair. The colors of which, in a bit of cruel irony, are not real.
2. That second spot -- a.k.a. "The Krebs" -- is death, isn't it? You could practically deduct a point for anyone performing second, because I think it's a legit warning sign. Especially when they stick Sanjaya there.
3. Am I drunk, or did Simon call Brandon "Travis"? The answer to this question, I'm pretty sure, is "yes and yes."

Sanjaya'd be in more danger if Simon had just let America get horrified by the hair on their own time. By pointing it out, he just re-awakened the sympathy vote.
Also, YOU may have been drunk, and maybe so was I, but I still heard Ryan Seacrest offer to let Brandon blow him in exchange for a spot in the finals. America's not yet ready for your E! True Hollywood Story, Seacrest. Tone it down.
What's awesome is that I had just texted to someone that Sanjaya has my sister's hair when Stephen texted to point out that Sanjaya has Stephen's wife's hair. It did scream "woman." Good-looking woman, but "woman" nevertheless.
I don't remember who called him "Travis," but someone did, because Paula corrected that person later. I thought she was fixing her own error, but as drunk as she often is, forgetting someone's name sounds more like Simon, for sure.
